We partner closely with advertisers to deliver custom, multi-platform solutions that leverage the power of NBCUniversal’s iconic content, talent, and audiences across linear, digital, and streaming platforms.

We are seeking an experienced Producer to join our dynamic team and help drive high-priority initiatives across NBCUniversal's Ad Sales organization. Partnering with creative, project management, communications, operations, and executive leadership teams, you'll produce breakthrough video and stills content that supports key business priorities.

In this fast-paced, agency-style environment, you'll oversee productions from concept through delivery, balancing creative excellence, operational efficiency, and budget accountability. You'll manage budgeting, scheduling, talent coordination, vendor relationships, on-set execution, and post-production delivery while identifying emerging technologies, production partners, and creative resources that enhance our capabilities.

Working closely with advertising clients, network creative and production teams, talent representatives, and stakeholders across Ad Sales, you'll help bring strategic initiatives to life through compelling content and seamless execution.

This position reports to the Executive Producer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all aspects of physical productions, including: creating internal budgets and estimates for all productions along with Executive Producer, identifying potential director and production partners, managing pre-production (including negotiating internal/external bids and liaising with NBCU legal in drafting and executing vendor/talent/clearance agreements), supervising live action shoots (including hiring and managing freelance production crews as an internal production company, hire & manage external production services and traditional production companies), and supervising editorial sessions through delivery.
  • Produce projects ranging from internal videos, branded content, social content, digital-only videos (short & long form) to larger 360 broadcast and digital campaigns
  • Help in organizing and scheduling internal resources to support all ongoing productions
  • Work hand in hand with legal, BA, music services, payroll companies, finance, to manage clearances and substantiation, cost reporting and best practices for all broadcast and digital content
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex physical commercial productions on a television network, production company (freelance experience accepted) and/or advertising agency
  • Must have extensive on-set production experience (including being extensive knowledge in union, guild & labor laws), as well as post-production rates, timelines & budget
  • Must be able to work outside of normal business hours as job duties or assignment requires, sometimes with little or no advance notification
  • Must have standing relationships with vendors in the industry to collaborate on projects, and be enthusiastic in developing relationships with new vendors
  • Must have proven on-set experience with celebrity talent; experience filming with vehicles, food and all category products and services
  • Experienced in managing multiple ongoing productions simultaneously and successfully
  • Ability to produce quality content within a broad range of budgets
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

DESIRED QUALITIES:

  • Proven experience confidently managing complex, cross-functional projects within production, marketing, communications, creative, media, or related environments.
  • Strong understanding of pre-production workflows, including creative development, timeline creation and management, production company and director search, and project bidding
  • Strong knowledge of post-production workflows including VFX, color correction, audio mixing, music licensing and delivery
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines, still delivering a product of excellence
  • Highly organized, efficient and effective/excellent communicator
  • Teamwork, must excel in working with teams across the organization as well as external partners
  • Maintain and develop best-in-class connections and resources to staff up all types of productions (e.g. Directors, Production Teams, Production Designers, DPs, Casting Directors, Writers, Location Managers as well as other key production and post-production resources)

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $95,000 - $130,000
