Responsibilities

  • Assist in design, creation and edit of still and motion graphics
  • Deliver graphic elements and motion graphic packages as specified for broadcast
  • Conceptualize and execute original motion title designs
  • Research and request photos from photo editors
  • Create photorealistic Photoshop composites from existing stock imagery
  • Perform VFX duties including tracking, rotoscoping, and compositing

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Art or related field
  • Must have at least two years professional (film, TV or advertising) experience working in motion graphics or adjacent field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of various audio, video and image file formats and ability to convert or compress to various required specifications.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be able to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required

Desired Characteristics:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-directed with excellent organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Cinema 4D
  • Ability to work under intense deadlines and quickly edit or adjust “day of” segments for broadcast.
  • Familiarity with Slack and Dropbox

Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

Hourly salary range: $17. 50 - $20. 00

The candidate who fills this position will be paid at least 60 hours per week regardless of whether they work less than 60 hours. Hours over 40 hrs/wk will be paid at the appropriate overtime rate.
