ABOUT GLOBAL TV DISTRIBUTION

NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and streaming platforms in over 200 territories across the globe.

This includes a rich library of more than 6,000 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, animation, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Digital Media Business Development & Licensing, the Associate Content Producer will support the growth of NBCUniversal’s portfolio of conflict-driven daytime talk shows, including Jerry Springer, Maury, Steve Wilkos, and Karamo, by creating and publishing high-performing, platform-native video across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat.

You will own the end-to-end content publishing process, transforming a deep archive into engaging clips and compilations, to maximize audience retention ensuring content is optimized through titles, thumbnails, and metadata to drive reach, engagement, and monetization.

You will identify opportunities to grow audiences, increase engagement, and maximize revenue through strategic programming, publishing, and analytics-driven decision making. Using performance data, you will continuously refine content and formats.

Success requires operating at pace, publishing high volumes of content, and reacting quickly to trends and audience behavior, while maintaining NBCUniversal’s editorial, creative, and compliance standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day content publishing and programming across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, and other social platforms.
  • Edit and publish videos using Adobe Premiere and/or bulk asset upload and creation products.
  • Deliver video thumbnails, channel banners, animated gifs and endcards.
  • Manage workflow and scheduling via tools and platforms such as Airtable.
  • In partnership with Director and team, develop and execute channel content calendars that support audience engagement and monetization objectives.
  • Monitor platform trends, audience behavior, and channel performance to inform content programming.
  • Regularly report to senior management on channel performance.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in creative arts, video production, digital marketing, social media management, or similar.
  • Understanding of YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, and social media best practices.
  • Familiarity with editing and productivity tools such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Airtable, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum of one year’s experience gained in a digital media environment.

  • Proven track-record in generating instantly arresting content at speed in a high-output team.
  • Ability to create video clips and compilations from master files with at least intermediate-level knowledge of Premiere, Photoshop, Word and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of social platform trends and audience behavior.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Passion for social media, digital entertainment, and audience growth.
  • Attention to detail ensuring output meets a high standard.
  • Confidence in generating and championing original ideas.
  • Passion for generating assets that deliver high viewing and engagement.
  • Strong interest in the AVOD landscape and audience expectations.
  • Openness to feedback and the ability to work creatively and collaboratively within a growing, entrepreneurial unit.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000
