As a Senior Test Analyst, you will play a key role for facilitating smooth testing automation and procedures, working directly with developers and product manager automate tests and to execute manual tests.

The position oversees the Quality Engineer around the ETD Clearing management solution of Calypso Technology Trading Solution. This is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen business, product, & technical skills. Our group maintains the integrity & reliability of the Clearing solution working closely with the Product Management and Engineering groups.

We are looking for candidates who share those values along with a genuine desire and drive to deliver top technology solutions to today's markets.

With this position we offer

QE assures that user requirements are met and bugs are fixed before the software is deployed. QE is also responsible to manage the releases, automate the requirements and ensure that everything is delivered in time with the best quality.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Guarantee the quality and the persistence of the software by understanding the requirements.
  • Crafting test cases to capture bugs within the system.
  • Execution of test cases for bug fixes and improvements.
  • Work in close collaboration with both Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure inclusion of improvements requested by clients in the software.
  • Report defects in a timely fashion and work with the Development team to manage defects until issues are resolved.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Design automation test scenarios, develop test plan & execution of automated test solutions.
  • Analysis of automated test results and failures.
  • Maintenance of existing automated test solutions.
  • Documenting test cases via Jira and Test management tools and maintain the test library.
  • Creation, upgrade, and maintenance of test environments.
  • Creation and maintenance of test data.

We expect you to have

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Capital Market preferably Calypso in Clearing management.
  • Experience in any financial services, on Front Office or Back Office.
  • Solid understanding on any of the asset class (EQ, FI, COM, FX, FXO, IRD, CDS, MM, derivatives, Pricing, Repo)
  • Ability to read BRD documents and develop test cases.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously in a technical and functional environment.
  • Experience with phases of the test cycle: planning, develop, execution, regression, system test, SIT, and test-suite maintenance.
  • Ability to do data set up and configuration and execute test cases.
  • Very good analytical Skills and problem-solving ability.
  • To be a fast learner, self-motivated team player, and collaborator.
  • Good time management skills to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities.
  • Education Qualification: Engineering graduate or full time MBA in finance.

It would be great if you

  • Good understanding of automation testing tools like UFT, Cypress.
  • Experience with SQL scripts and good understanding of the phases of SDLC.
  • Understanding of any object-oriented programming language and Java code will be added advantage.
  • An understanding of the release and software development lifecycle would be advantageous.
