Job description

About this role

We're looking for a Senior AI Application Engineer (.NET) to design, build, and scale intelligent enterprise applications. This role is ideal for an experienced C#/.NET software engineer who has recently incorporated AI capabilities into existing products, platforms, or workflows and can balance strong software engineering practices with the rapid pace of emerging AI technologies.

You'll develop secure, scalable, production-ready solutions that enhance user experiences, automate workflows, and unlock value from enterprise data. Rather than building foundational AI models, you'll focus on integrating AI into enterprise-grade software to solve practical business challenges and deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure enterprise applications using C#, .NET/.NET Core, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform, and modern web technologies such as Vue.js.
  • Develop backend APIs, microservices, and cloud-native services while contributing across the full stack when needed.
  • Integrate AI capabilities such as LLMs, RAG, vector search, embeddings, and agentic workflows into enterprise applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, production-ready code and contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployments to improve development velocity and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions that solve complex business challenges.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4-5+ years of professional software development experience building enterprise applications.
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, software design, and backend development.
  • Experience building APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and modern software development practices.
  • Recent hands-on experience incorporating AI capabilities into existing products, platforms, workflows, or production software.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to balance engineering best practices and fast-moving AI technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, AWS Bedrock, or similar AI platforms.
  • Experience building conversational AI applications, copilots, assistants, or agentic workflows.
  • Experience with Docker, Elasticsearch, Jenkins, or other cloud-native and DevOps technologies.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, evaluation, and observability practices for AI-powered applications.

This position will be located in Atlanta, Georgia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; Nasdaq will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)
