As a Full Stack Engineer reporting to Senior Director of Software Engineering, you'll play a critical role in building the Java services and React/TypeScript applications that power a new R&D team focused on responsible AI for global financial markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring, and develop user-facing applications using React and TypeScript, owning capabilities end to end.
- Design and implement secure integrations using REST and modern agent-to-agent protocols, ensuring quality through unit testing, manual validation, and test automation.
- Contribute to requirements analysis and architecture discussions, following and shaping decisions that affect team delivery.
- Collaborate with DevOps on deployment automation, observability, and portfolio security across environments.
- Apply AI-assisted tooling and Nasdaq's GenAI Platform to improve and optimize every step of the development process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with production-level Java expertise applying object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience building component-based web applications; React and TypeScript experience is strongly valued.
- Solid SQL skills including CRUD operations, schema design, and working with database-backed services, alongside strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
- Proficiency with Git workflows, Linux command-line usage, and an understanding of containerization using Docker or Podman.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted tools in a real development workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to LLM or agent development, including function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, or agent-tool protocols.
- Basic familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling (e.g., Terraform or OpenTofu), Python or another scripting language, or Kubernetes.
- Background in fintech, capital markets, or a regulated industry environment.
This position will be located in Vilnius, Lithuania, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay for this role is from 3500 eur to 4000 eur gross. The actual pay depends on factors like your skills, experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, we offer short-term incentives (bonus or commission) and long-term incentives (equity), where applicable.
