Salary : Up to ZAR 750,000 per year for the right candidate

We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to help Midnite scale our teams during an important period of growth. Technical recruitment will be at the heart of this role, with additional ownership of commercial hiring as business priorities evolve. This will begin as a six-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity to progress into a permanent, full-time role.

Reporting to Louis Curry, Talent Acquisition Lead, you’ll take immediate ownership of end-to-end technical searches, partner directly with senior stakeholders, and help strengthen our internal processes, project delivery, and adoption of AI within the Talent Acquisition team. We need someone with strong hands-on Ashby experience who can hit the ground running and contribute from day one.

You will:

  • Own end-to-end hiring across engineering, product, data, infrastructure, and related technical disciplines
  • Support commercial hiring across Growth, Marketing, Operations, and other business functions when required
  • Partner with hiring managers to define roles, build scorecards, and design effective interview processes
  • Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies across South Africa and relevant international markets
  • Qualify candidates thoroughly and manage an excellent experience from first contact through to offer
  • Use Ashby confidently from day one to manage data hygiene, workflows, templates, automation, and reporting
  • Provide clear market insight, pipeline updates, and hiring recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Coach hiring managers on structured interviewing and evidence-based decision-making
  • Own additional Talent Acquisition projects and support improvements to internal team processes
  • Help drive practical AI adoption and automation within the Talent Acquisition team

The next Midniter:

  • Has significant in-house technical recruitment experience within a high-growth scale-up environment
  • Has hired across multiple engineering or technical disciplines and levels
  • Has credible experience hiring commercial roles alongside a technical remit
  • Is an excellent sourcer who can build pipelines beyond inbound applications
  • Can confidently advise and challenge senior stakeholders
  • Uses data and market insight to improve hiring decisions
  • Is highly organised and comfortable managing multiple complex searches
  • Thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership from brief through to signed offer
  • Cares deeply about quality of hire and candidate experience
  • Has strong hands-on Ashby experience and can contribute effectively from day one
