Overview

Microsoft is a company where passionate innovators come to collaborate, envision what can be and take their careers further. This is a world of more possibilities, more innovation, more openness, and the sky is the limit thinking in a cloud-enabled world.

Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence. The products our portfolio include Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI.

Our mission is to build the data platform for the age of AI, powering a new class of data-first applications and driving a data culture.

Within Microsoft Fabric, the Fabric IQ team brings contextual intelligence to data, enabling users and agents to understand, reason over, and act on information more effectively. By grounding data in a shared semantic layer, Fabric IQ ensures that insights are consistent, meaningful, and aligned across the platform.

This capability enhances how users interact with data, powering smarter analytics, natural language experiences, and AI-driven scenarios that turn data into actionable understanding at scale.

The Microsoft IQ team is building the unified intelligence layer for enterprise AI, bringing together organizational knowledge and context across Work IQ, Fabric IQ, Foundry IQ, Web IQ, and partner sources so agents can discover and use trusted context wherever they run.

Our goal is to make AI more useful, accurate, and relevant by enabling organizations to connect the knowledge, data, and expertise that power their business to agents and Copilot experiences.

We do not just value differences or different perspectives. We seek them out and invite them in so we can tap into the collective power of everyone in the company. As a result, our customers are better served.

  • Work closely with engineering, design, and research to take customer scenarios from product definition through implementation, evaluation, and release.
  • Engage directly with customers and partners to validate product direction, identify unmet needs, and translate feedback into prioritized product improvements.
