About this role

Overview Microsoft’s Early in Profession organization is looking for a strategic, collaborative, and innovative Business Program Manager, Global Intern Experience & Innovation to help evolve Microsoft’s global intern experience.

Microsoft’s Intern Program plays an important role in developing future talent and creating meaningful connections between interns, their work, our culture, and our mission. As emerging technologies reshape how people learn, work, and build, we have an opportunity to evolve the internship experience to help early talent develop future-ready capabilities while creating a sense of community and belonging.

In this role, you will lead the design and execution of key elements of Microsoft’s global intern experience, connecting community, belonging, innovation, and skill development across the intern lifecycle.

You will own several high-impact intern experiences, including our annual Intern Celebration, while developing new opportunities for interns to experiment, build future-ready skills, form meaningful relationships, and make an impact through their work.

This role is ideal for someone who can connect strategy to execution, bring structure to ambiguity, build for global scale, and use data and insights to continuously improve programs. You will collaborate across Microsoft with business stakeholders, learning partners, managers, employees, regional teams, and program partners to deliver a cohesive and differentiated intern experience.

What success looks like

Success in this role means creating intern experiences that are relevant, connected, inclusive, and increasingly aligned to the capabilities Microsoft needs for the future.

You will help interns build meaningful relationships, develop future-ready skills, contribute through impactful work, and strengthen their connection to Microsoft. You will use evidence to understand what is working, identify where experiences need to evolve, and help the Intern Program continually improve while delivering effectively at global scale.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
