Meta is seeking a Social Content Lead to shape and execute the social media presence and content strategy for Meta's senior executives across social platforms.
In this role, you will serve as a senior content creator and creative strategist, concepting, capturing, and producing compelling photo and video content that translates executive voice and Meta's most consequential policy and product narratives into engaging social storytelling. You will be hands-on with camera, lighting, and audio equipment, while leveraging AI tools for efficient editing and post-production.
Working at the intersection of executive communications, creative production, and digital storytelling, you will ensure Meta's executive presence reflects the company's mission and engages diverse stakeholders across technology, policy, and culture.
Social Content
Lead, CEO Communications Responsibilities
- Concept and develop creative ideas for photos and videos that support the overall executive communications program and align with Meta's policy communications priorities
- Capture high-quality photo and video content for executive social channels, including setting up and operating camera, lighting, and audio equipment
- Edit and produce platform-native video and photo content using AI-powered editing tools and post-production software to accelerate workflows and enhance quality
- Develop and drive the overarching social content strategy for executive public-facing channels across social platforms
- Adapt creative concepts, tone, format, and cadence to each platform's audience and conventions
- Translate complex policy positions, product announcements, and corporate narratives into accessible, engaging visual content that resonates with diverse global audiences
- Partner closely with executive leadership, policy communications, and cross-functional teams including product, legal, and government affairs to align creative content with broader communications strategy
- Establish and maintain a content calendar that coordinates executive social activity with major company milestones, policy moments, product launches, and external events
- Identify proactive opportunities for executives to engage publicly on emerging policy, technology, and cultural moments, developing rapid-response content recommendations
- Analyze social performance data and audience engagement signals to inform creative decisions and optimize content strategy
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in content creation, video production, digital communications, or social media strategy, with direct experience producing photo and video content for senior executives or public figures
- Experience capturing professional photo and video content, including hands-on setup and operation of camera, lighting, and audio equipment
- Experience concepting and developing creative ideas for social content that support broader communications or marketing programs
- Experience with video editing software and post-production workflows, including use of AI-powered editing tools
- Experience developing social content strategies and producing platform-native content across social platforms
- Experience using social analytics and performance data to evaluate content effectiveness and inform creative decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing rapid-response content production during high-stakes policy, regulatory, or reputational moments
- Demonstrated ability to operate across a matrixed organization with multiple cross-functional communications partners including legal, policy, and product teams
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Experience integrating AI tools across the content lifecycle including ideation, capture planning, editing, and audience analysis
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience producing photo and video content for executives and public figures

United States of America: $146,000/year to $206,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base compensation, Meta offers benefits.
