This role oversees IP protection, prosecution, and strategic activity for all Mercedes-Benz IP operations in North America.

In Silicon Valley, we work on key areas of Advanced Interaction Design, Digital User Experience, AI/Machine Learning integration and infrastructure for vehicle personalization, Autonomous Driving, Customer Research and Business Innovation. In Ann Arbor, the focus is on Powertrain including battery development/design, charging, eDrive Testing and Regulatory Affairs Division.
The Advanced Vehicle
Design in Carlsbad, California completes the picture. Together, all the developers, technicians, engineers and designers take on the challenges of creating the next mobility innovation for Mercedes-Benz customers around the world.
They are inspired by the newest trends, find the best solutions for the customer, develop the latest and greatest technologies and create the next generation of connected, safe, sustainable and luxurious vehicles.
