About this role

Employer-provided description, formatted for easier reading.

KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG), is a leading travel search engine. With billions of queries across our platforms, we help people find their perfect flight, stay, rental car and vacation package. We're also transforming business travel with a new corporate travel solution, KAYAK for Business.

As an employee of KAYAK, you will be part of a travel company that operates a portfolio of global metasearch brands including momondo, Cheapflights and HotelsCombined, among others. From start-up to industry leader, innovation is in our DNA and every employee has an opportunity to make their mark. Our focus is on building the best travel search engine to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.

KAYAK for Business (K4B) is KAYAK's corporate travel platform — built to help companies manage business travel through a modern online booking experience, AI-powered features, and a connected network of travel management partners.

This Senior Account Manager role sits at the heart of our client relationships: you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of US-based corporate clients, helping them get real value from the platform, stay on track with their travel programs, and grow with us over time.

You'll work closely with a collaborative account management team and partner regularly with colleagues across Product, Support, Finance, and Implementation to deliver for your clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Own a portfolio of assigned corporate accounts and serve as their primary day-to-day contact for platform adoption, account health, and ongoing support.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with client travel teams and program managers, with a focus on retention and satisfaction.
  • Lead regular account reviews, quarterly business reviews, and strategic performance reviews — often in coordination with travel management company (TMC) partners.
  • Monitor account health across your portfolio, identify risks early, and develop clear action plans to address them.
  • Drive adoption of platform capabilities — including AI-assisted booking, group travel features, direct content, and international expansion — by helping clients understand the value and supporting successful rollouts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Product, Support, Finance, and Implementation to resolve issues, close open items, and deliver on commitments made to clients.
  • Manage contract renewals and amendments; contribute to pricing discussions and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Keep account records, action logs, and renewal timelines accurate and up to date.
  • Contribute to team-wide improvements — including playbooks, templates, and scalable processes — that help the whole team work more effectively.
  • Represent the voice of your clients internally, sharing feedback and patterns that help the broader team and product organization make better decisions.

Please apply if you have:

  • Experience in account management, client success, customer relationship management, or a related client-facing role — we value what you've accomplished and the skills you've built, not a specific number of years or a particular job title
  • A track record of managing multiple client relationships at the same time, with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Clear, confident communication skills — written and verbal — and comfort working with people at different levels of an organization, from day-to-day contacts to senior decision-makers
  • The ability to use data to track account performance, spot trends, and inform your conversations with clients
  • A collaborative, organized approach to work, including the ability to coordinate across multiple internal teams and external partners to get things done
  • Equivalent experience, training, or transferable skills from adjacent fields (such as hospitality, operations, consulting, or customer success) are genuinely considered

You'll stand out if you also have:

  • Experience in corporate travel, B2B technology, or SaaS
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, project management platforms, or business intelligence dashboards
  • Experience working alongside or coordinating with travel management companies or other third-party service partners
  • Experience supporting clients through product launches, market expansions, or change management

Benefits and Perks

  • Work from (almost) anywhere for up to 20 days per year
  • Focus on mental health and well-being:
  • Company-paid therapy sessions through SpringHealth
  • Company-paid subscription to HeadSpace
  • Company-wide week off a year - the whole team fully recharges (and returns without a pile-up of work!)
  • No meeting Fridays
  • Paid parental leave
  • Generous paid vacation + time off for your birthday
  • Paid volunteer time
  • Focus on your career growth:
  • Development Dollars
  • Leadership development
  • Access to thousands of on-demand e-learnings
  • Travel Discounts
  • Employee Resource Groups
  • Competitive retirement and health plans
  • Free lunch 2 days per week
  • Fun quarterly events such as boat trips, arcades, ski trips, Thursday happy hours, and more

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Massachusetts-based role is $115,000-$140,000 .

We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave benefits. This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.

Inclusion

At KAYAK, we want everyone to have the space to grow, share ideas and do great work. That's why we're focused on hiring the best talent from all walks of life and experiences, supporting them well and making sure no one feels like they have to fit a mold to belong here.

Need any adjustments for the interview, application or on the job? No problem - just give us a heads-up. We've got you.
