The Role and Impact
As a Supply Chain Technical Analyst, you will play a vital role in optimizing and managing Intel's supply chain operations. You will develop and execute supply chain planning schedules, materials forecasts, build plans, and capacity requirements, ensuring seamless operations to meet customer needs.
By analyzing data, identifying patterns, and modeling optimization strategies, you will directly contribute to creating more efficient supply chain solutions that drive cost-effectiveness and operational excellence.
Business Group
You will join Intel Foundry's Central Planning team, which plays a pivotal role in ensuring effective supply chain management for Intel's innovative manufacturing operations. This team works collaboratively between customers and Intel manufacturing to optimize supply while maximizing capacity utilization across all manufacturing stages.
The group supports Intel's mission by driving operational efficiency and delivering exceptional value to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Develop and execute supply chain schedules, materials forecasts, and capacity plans to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BU, sales, finance, and manufacturing, to deliver optimal supply chain results
- Apply mathematical, statistical, and advanced analytical methods to optimize inventory, materials, network flow, and cost efficiency.
- Design product setup, bill of materials, and supply chain models for new manufacturing flows.
- Develop standardized reports and dashboards to support business strategies and decision-making.
- Manage supply disruption events and communicate adjusted plans, priorities, and tradeoffs to stakeholders to ensure customer demands are met.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain management, analytics, or related areas, OR a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in the domain, OR a PhD with no prior professional experience.
- Proficiency in Supply Planning using tools like Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, O9, SAP IBP or similar
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or statistical software.
- Experience with supply chain modeling, forecasting, and optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize data visualization tools and create impactful reports and dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and functions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
- Experience in managing supply disruptions and decision-making under time constraints.
