Job Details

Job Description:

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to define, build, and scale our Data Center System and Manageability Software Portfolio.

In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution for system software, firmware, telemetry, and out-of-band/in-band manageability capabilities, ensuring next-generation hyperscale and enterprise infrastructure operates reliably, securely, and efficiently at scale for Intel Datacenter GPUs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define multi-generational product roadmaps for system software, firmware (UEFI/BMC), telemetry, and orchestration interfaces across data center GPU products.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with silicon, platform hardware, firmware, OS, and cloud software engineering teams to align architectural dependencies and platform release schedules.
  • Customer and Market Discovery: Drive deep technical discovery with cloud service providers (CSPs), enterprise customers, and OEMs/ODMs to translate complex infrastructure operational pain points into clear product requirements (PRDs).
  • Fleet Manageability and Observability: Champion standard-based manageability (e.g., Redfish, OpenBMC, PLDM) and robust telemetry pipelines to ensure platforms are observable, controllable, and secure at hyperscale.
  • Execution and Lifecycle Management: Own the complete lifecycle from PRD generation and engineering sprint prioritization to platform bring-up, validation, security patching, and end-of-life planning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of total experience, with 4+ years dedicated to technical product management in data center infrastructure, server platforms, or systems software.
  • Deep domain expertise in server architecture, BMC firmware (OpenBMC), UEFI/BIOS, RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability), out-of-band management, and platform security (Root of Trust, SPDM).
  • Proven familiarity with industry standards including DMTF Redfish, IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, and PCIe / CXL manageability.
  • Demonstrated success taking complex system software or platform firmware solutions from concept to high-volume production deployment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience (MS / MBA preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical experience designing manageability tools for hyperscale data centers or hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).
  • Active engagement with open-source firmware and hardware initiatives (e.g., Open Compute Project / OCP, Linux Foundation).
  • Background in edge-to-cloud telemetry streaming, platform health modeling, or predictive failure analysis using machine learning.

Your impact as Manager of Software Product Management will be instrumental in shaping Intel's future success and driving transformative solutions in the tech industry. If you are ready to lead, innovate, and make a difference, we encourage you to bring your unique expertise to Intel and join us in redefining what's possible.
