Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic, creative and highly collaborative communications professional to lead Intel's communications in Malaysia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated communications strategy for Intel Malaysia spanning employee communications, executive communications, corporate and product PR. The role will closely partner with the Intel Malaysia site and sales leadership teams with an objective of protecting and promoting Intel's reputation in Malayasia both internally as well as externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize, design and implement Intel Malaysia's site communications, including employee and executive communications in alignment with Intel Global Marketing and Communications (GMC) priorities and Intel Malaysia Site objectives.
  • Build and maintain a clear, consistent Intel Malaysia narrative that connects the company's technology leadership, local presence, business priorities and contributions to Malaysia.
  • Maximize communications impact through storytelling on key themes and narratives in different formats like intranet, newsletters, blogs, social media, open forums, videos, podcasts, infographics and other creative mediums etc.
  • Support executive communications, including messaging, employee forums, talking points and other leadership engagements.
  • Lead or coordinate Malaysia communications for issues and crisis situations, in close partnership with site leadership, regional and global Communications, Legal, Government Affairs, Human Resources and other relevant teams.
  • Provide strategic counsel and act as a trusted advisor to the local leadership team on internal communication, employer branding and social media.
  • Support product launches and product communications in partnership with regional Communications, Marketing, Sales, business teams, customers and ecosystem partners.

In summary, the role encompasses the following

Employee communications, executive communications, Corporate and Product communications, crisis communications, change management communications, brand and corporate narrative and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Experience and competencies

  • 10-15 years of communications experience, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Internal communications, storytelling, employer branding experience a huge plus.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing impactful 360-degree communications programs and campaigns.
  • Flair for data; data-based decision making and experience using AI tools to improve communications effectiveness; Focus on communications metrics with analytics/tools for measurement and impact.
  • Deep solutions mindset and with a passion to drive new and innovative models of communications for higher impact; Use of technology in elevating communications impact.
  • Agility and adaptability to changing environments, both internally and externally.
  • Deft stakeholder management skills and a collaborator.
  • Excellent writing skills.
