What you'll do
- Job Family Definition: Responsible for executing and coordinating material management, inventory control, material receiving/delivery services, and shipping operations in compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Works closely with engineering, program, procurement, logistics, and lab teams to ensure timely material availability and efficient operational support.
- Performs hands-on material management activities, including material receiving, inventory tracking, stock replenishment, allocation, kitting, asset control, material delivery, and distribution to support business and project requirements.
- Ensures materials are accurately received, processed, stored, and delivered to the appropriate teams in a timely manner.
- Monitors material availability, identifies shortages, and collaborates with stakeholders to resolve issues and minimize operational impact.
- Supports domestic and international shipping operations, including shipment scheduling, packaging coordination, carrier communication, and preparation of shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, export/import documents, and customs-related paperwork.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and shipping requirements.
- Coordinates inbound and outbound logistics activities, including material receiving, shipment processing, delivery tracking, and issue resolution.
- Maintains accurate inventory, asset, and shipping records while ensuring efficient movement of materials between suppliers, warehouses, labs, and end users.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to improve material management processes, inventory accuracy, material fulfillment efficiency, and logistics operations.
- Provides analysis and reporting on material availability, inventory levels, receiving and delivery performance, shipment status, and operational metrics.
- Identifies opportunities to streamline processes, reduce delays, and enhance overall service quality.

Uses ability as a skilled specialist to contribute to the development of new concepts/techniques and to complete assignments/tasks in innovative and effective ways. Expert knowledge on the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are highly complex in nature where a strong degree of initiative and technical knowledge are required to resolve problems.
Work is completed independently and has ability to handle most unique situations. Frequently determines methods and procedures for new assignments. May supervise the activities of other non-exempt employees.
Responsibilities
- Independently executes material management, inventory control, material receiving/delivery, and shipping operations to support business and project requirements.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in material management and logistics processes, including inventory tracking, stock control, material allocation, shipping coordination, and shipping documentation preparation.
- Analyzes material and inventory data, identifies trends, shortages, and operational risks, and provides recommendations to improve material availability, inventory accuracy, and fulfillment efficiency.
- Identifies process gaps and opportunities for improvement in material receiving, delivery, inventory management, and shipping operations, and collaborates with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
- Provides training, mentorship, and documentation to support consistent execution of material handling, inventory control, shipping procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Performs and coordinates material receiving and delivery services, ensuring timely receipt, processing, storage, distribution, and delivery of materials to internal customers and project teams.
- Prepares and reviews domestic and international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, export/import documents, customs paperwork, and shipment records to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
What you need to bring
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically, 2+ years' experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of material management, inventory control, and material receiving/delivery operations.
- Microsoft Office, and inventory management systems.
- Experienced in shipping coordination and preparation of domestic/international shipping documents.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and execution capabilities.
- Knowledge of logistics, warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to train team members, improve processes, and support efficient material fulfillment and shipping operations.
