Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Coach to play a critical role in building a world-class, multi-country sales organization. This role is responsible for accelerating new hire productivity, improving sales execution, and driving consistent application of sales methodologies across diverse teams and countries.
As a trusted partner to Sales Managers and Sales Operation Manager, the Sales Coach will support onboarding, conduct structured coaching interventions, facilitate skill development, and identify capability gaps that impact performance.
The successful candidate will combine strong sales expertise with exceptional coaching abilities to help sales professionals continuously improve their effectiveness, customer engagement, and business results.
This role will be instrumental in creating a high-performance coaching culture that enables sellers to reach productivity faster, adopt best practices consistently, and achieve sustainable success.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate onboarding and ramp-up of new sales hires through structured coaching and performance reinforcement.
- Deliver sales coaching through one-on-one sessions, role plays, and call observations to improve seller performance.
- Drive sales methodology adoption and reinforce best practices throughout the sales cycle.
- Assess seller capabilities and create personalized coaching and development plans.
- Identify training needs and partner with training teams to close skill and knowledge gaps.
- Observe and analyze customer interactions to provide actionable feedback and improve sales execution.
- Promote best practice sharing and collaboration across teams, countries, and sales organizations.
- Lead coaching calibration initiatives to ensure consistency in coaching standards and performance assessments.
- Develop manager coaching capability by providing tools, frameworks, and support to Sales Managers.
- Measure coaching effectiveness and drive continuous improvement in sales productivity, readiness, and performance.
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of successful experience in B2B sales, inside sales, business development, or account management.
- 2+ years of experience in sales coaching, sales enablement, training, mentoring, or performance development.
- Demonstrated experience coaching sales professionals to improve performance and achieve measurable business outcomes.
- Experience working within multinational or multi-country sales organizations.
Preferred
- Experience in B2B, technology, SaaS, digital solutions, cloud services, or complex solution selling environments.
- Certification or formal training in coaching methodologies.
- Experience building scalable coaching programs within high-growth sales organizations.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales performance analytics platforms.
- Experience applying sales methodologies such as MEDDICC or similar frameworks.
Knowledge & Skills
- Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional Western European language is an advantage.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills with the ability to drive behavioral change and performance improvement.
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills in a multinational environment.
- Deep understanding of B2B sales processes, customer engagement, and sales excellence practices.
- Expertise in sales methodologies and their practical application throughout the sales cycle.
- Ability to assess sales performance, evaluate customer interactions, and provide actionable feedback.
- Experience developing competency assessments, coaching plans, and personal development plans.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify trends, skill gaps, and measure coaching effectiveness.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and influence sellers, managers, and senior leaders.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and passionate about continuous learning, talent development, and fostering a high-performance culture.
