Job Summary
- This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships and tailoring solutions for their unique business needs while supporting recommendations with compelling business cases. The role manages proof-of-concept projects, contributes to technical documentation, and simplifies technical information for customers. The role analyzes market competition, gathers customer feedback, and shares insights with the product development team for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Act as the trusted technical advisor for Corporate, Enterprise, and Public Sector customers, helping shape their end-user computing and workplace transformation strategies.
- Lead customer discovery engagements, identifying business objectives, user personas, operational challenges, security requirements, and technology priorities to design optimized solutions.
- Translate customer business and technical requirements into comprehensive HP end-user computing solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Architect, position, and support solutions across HP’s portfolio, including AI PCs, business notebooks and desktops, workstations, thin clients, retail solutions, peripherals, collaboration solutions, device management, and lifecycle services.
- Advise customers on modern workplace architectures, endpoint security, AI-enabled productivity solutions, and digital employee experience initiatives.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Windows ecosystem technologies, including Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Windows 11, identity and access management, and modern device deployment methodologies.
- Design and position enterprise-grade device management and fleet management strategies, including provisioning, lifecycle management, asset visibility, analytics, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Consult customers on endpoint security best practices, including HP Wolf Security solutions, BIOS and firmware protection, hardware-enforced security, supply chain protection, device recovery, and Zero Trust architectures.
- Engage with customer IT leaders, architects, security teams, procurement organizations, and executive stakeholders to build technical credibility and influence strategic decisions.
- Lead technical qualification activities, account planning, opportunity development, and solution validation throughout the sales cycle.
- Develop compelling demonstrations, executive presentations, workshops, and technical storytelling that clearly articulate business value and competitive differentiation.
- Own the technical response process for RFIs, RFPs, tenders, and complex procurement programs, ensuring accurate, competitive, and compliant submissions.
- Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs), technical evaluations, pilot programs, benchmark activities, and customer validation engagements.
- Collaborate closely with HP category teams, alliance partners, Microsoft specialists, engineering teams, and services organizations to develop winning solutions.
- Identify opportunities for professional services, managed services, deployment services, lifecycle management, AI readiness, and workplace transformation initiatives.
- Maintain strong knowledge of emerging technologies, including Edge AI, AI-powered workplace solutions, endpoint analytics, automation, and future computing trends.
- Provide structured market feedback and competitive intelligence to HP product, category, and engineering teams.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in presales consulting, solution architecture, technical sales, workplace transformation, endpoint management, or enterprise IT consulting.
- Strong expertise in enterprise computing solutions, modern endpoint management, operating systems, security architectures, and cloud-based device administration.
- Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and endpoint management technologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise security principles, endpoint protection, firmware and BIOS security, Zero Trust frameworks, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Understanding of Edge AI concepts, AI-enabled devices, AI workloads, and their impact on the future workplace.
- Experience supporting RFIs, RFPs, public tenders, technical evaluations, and formal procurement processes.
- Proven ability to conduct discovery workshops and translate customer requirements into scalable solution architectures.
- Strong presentation, communication, and executive engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- Experience leading technical demonstrations, customer workshops, and Proof of Concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative approach.
- Proficiency with CRM, productivity, and collaboration platforms.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Willingness to travel within Mexico and internationally (approximately 25-50%).
