Working across corporate, consumer, policy and digital communications, we engage media, policymakers, creators, ecosystem partners and the wider public to build trust, strengthen our brand and support business growth.

Get to Know the Role

As Communications Manager, you will report to the Singapore Communications Lead to shape priorities and deliver high-quality communications across the team. You will support corporate, policy, business, and partner-facing communications.

You will balance sustained reputation and perception building, with daily issues and crisis communications.

This is a fully onsite role at our Singapore's One North office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Develop and deliver integrated communications campaigns that build sustained understand, trust and positive perception of Grab
  • Lead issues and crisis communications for daily issues, including risk anticipation, stakeholder alignment, messaging development, media response, etc.
  • Advise internal business leaders on communications strategies, narrative development, media engagement and reputation considerations
  • Lead communications for corporate campaigns, regulatory advocacy, change management, and other programs
  • Anticipate, plan and manage multi-audience and multi-channel communications for daily issues, ensuring timely and aligned responses
  • Build trusted relationships with media, commentators, community stakeholders and agency partners, while identifying opportunities to strengthen Grab's visibility and credibility
  • Analyse communications performance and use data-driven insights to improve planning, execution, and impact
  • Mentor junior team members, and use GenAI tools responsibility to improve productivity, refine workflows and create new communications ideas

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You have at least 10 years' experience in corporate communications, strategic communications, public relations, gained in-house, agency-side or across both
  • You have experience leading issues and crisis communications in Singapore, including advising stakeholders, shaping positioning and messaging, and protecting corporate reputation, in fast-moving or complex environments
  • You can build sustained reputation and perception over time through strategic communications
  • You have experience in integrated communications and how to bring together different content, channels and audiences to amplify key messages and build engagement
  • You understand Singapore's media, public policy, digital and community landscape
  • You have strong writing skills and experience developing content across channels and formats, adapting style and tone for different executives, occasions and audiences
  • You have experience influencing senior stakeholders, leading cross-functional work and mentoring junior team members
  • You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows and contribute new ideas
