As a Backend Engineer, you’ll work on meaningful technical challenges and contribute to products that help companies better understand their customer interactions. You’ll join an experienced engineering team, develop your backend skills, and build reliable services using Java and modern software development practices.

You’ll Own:

• Backend Development: Developing and maintaining backend services and features using Java within a microservices-based architecture.
• Feature Delivery: Working on well-defined tasks and features, from understanding requirements through implementation, testing, and delivery, with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Code Quality: Writing clean, maintainable, and reliable code while following team standards and best practices.
• Learning and Growth: Continuously developing your technical skills and gaining experience with new technologies, concepts, and products.

You’ll Solve:

• Technical Challenges: Investigating, debugging, and resolving technical issues with support from experienced Software Engineers.
• Software Development: Applying software development fundamentals to build, test, and improve backend services.
• Collaborative Development: Working closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality product experiences.

• Product Development: Contributing to products that help companies better understand their customer interactions.
• System Reliability: Helping build backend services that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Team Success: Collaborating with talented engineers, sharing knowledge, asking questions, and contributing to a positive and high-performing engineering environment.

How You’ll Succeed Here:

• BSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering – a must.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Java development – an advantage.
• A solid understanding of software development fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and motivation to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
• A strong sense of responsibility and ownership over assigned tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Software Engineers and Product Managers.
