Role Description

As a critical member of the Supply Chain Finance team, your responsibility is to help track, analyze, and report on Form's material costs — the company's largest cost driver — as we scale production. You will report to the Supply Chain Finance Lead and work closely with Global Sourcing Managers (GSMs), Accounting, and Logistics partners to keep our cost data clean, current, and audit-ready.

You will play a hands-on role in maintaining Form's bill of materials (BOM), while also supporting purchase requisition (PR) approvals and spend-versus-budget tracking as the team ramps up.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build deep fluency in manufacturing supply chain and cost analysis, with real ownership over work that rolls up into executive-level reporting.

This role requires strong analytical and Excel skills, a high degree of ownership, and the perseverance needed to navigate the ambiguity of a start-up environment. Prior experience in manufacturing or supply chain is preferred, but a strong attitude and genuine interest in learning the space on the job matter just as much.

You'll need to look beyond the numbers to understand what's actually driving Form's material costs and communicate that clearly to the team.

Relocation assistance is available.

What you'll do

  • Own cost tracking for Form's bill of materials (BOM) — partner with GSMs to capture quotes, validate cost roll-ups, and run down missing or outdated items
  • Support the purchase approval process and track spend against budget as production ramps
  • Assist with factory scrap tracking — dig into how the system captures scrap, identify variances against forecast, and build reporting that rolls up to the team's cost forecasts
  • Identify and execute cost-savings measures across Logistics (i.e., expedite reduction, load optimization, tariff exposure) as production scales up
  • Help prepare quarterly KPI reviews and biweekly cost syncs with executives, pulling together trended cost data and variance commentary
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Logistics, and GSMs to ensure material cost data is accurate, complete, and reported on time
  • Support ad hoc supply chain finance initiatives as needed — e.g., transportation management system (TMS) rollout, make-vs-buy analyses, tariff and duty exposure tracking

What you'll bring:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience; manufacturing or supply chain background preferred, but not required for the right candidate
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills; comfort digging into large, complex datasets to find and resolve discrepancies
  • A strong attitude and genuine willingness to learn on the job — curiosity and follow-through matter as much as prior experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners, including GSMs, Accounting, and Logistics
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ownership in running down open items to closure
  • Proactive communication style, comfortable reporting status and variances up to management
