- We are looking for an Embedded SW Test Engineer to own how we prove our Embedded SW is trustworthy. You will build the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) benches, automated test suites, and fault-injection campaigns that catch defects before they reach fielded hardware — and turn field and test data back into regression coverage. You focus on firmware behavior, fault handling, and system-level robustness rather than structural or environmental qualification. This is a high-ownership role bridging embedded SW, hardware, and test automation. You partner with firmware, electrical, and systems engineers on fault management, verification, and bring-up of new boards.
We spotted this role from DoorDash's careers page. The full description lives on their site, apply directly above and we'll keep watching for more like it.
