Company-specific questions

  • Conflict of Interest If hired, do you expect that you will engage in any outside employment, consulting, freelance or advisory work, board service, trade or industry group, teaching role, personally owned business, financial interest, or other outside professional or business activity that could reasonably conflict with CrowdStrike’s business or interfere with the responsibilities of the position for which you are applying (excluding non-competing personal hobbies, passive investments, or uncompensated civic activities that do not impact your work)? This may include an activity or interest that overlaps with your role or expected duties at CrowdStrike; overlaps with CrowdStrike’s business or offerings; creates a significant competing time or loyalty commitment; or could involve CrowdStrike confidential information, resources, or business opportunities. You do not need to disclose an activity that will end before your start date and will leave no continuing interest, obligation, or restriction relevant to cybersecurity or your work at CrowdStrike. A “Yes” response will not automatically disqualify you from consideration. It will allow CrowdStrike to determine whether a potential conflict exists and, if so, whether it can be avoided or appropriately managed. This question applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Acknowledgment As an AI-native company, CrowdStrike embraces the thoughtful use of AI tools in our work. During our interview process, some assessments may expressly permit the use of AI and other tools — we will make this clear upfront when that is the case. I acknowledge that unless explicitly told otherwise by my interviewer(s), I will complete all interviews and assessments through my own independent work, without assistance from generative AI, automated tools, or other external resources. Where AI use is permitted, I understand that my interviewer(s) will specify which tools are authorized and how they may be used. I understand that using unauthorized tools or resources during any stage of the interview process may result in my disqualification from consideration.

About the Role

CrowdStrike seeks an experienced technical educator and cloud security specialist who wants to help our customers learn how to secure cloud environments and protect their organizations against the most advanced attackers in the world.

As an Instructor, Cloud Security within CrowdStrike's Services Training and Education team, this role goes beyond traditional teaching—it involves translating your real-world cloud security experience into actionable insights that help students elevate their defensive capabilities in the cloud.

Leveraging the CrowdStrike Falcon® Cloud Security platform, you will guide learners through immersive, hands-on training covering CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, container security, and cloud incident response. You will also partner with our curriculum development team to evolve existing cloud security courses and build new content that keeps pace with the rapidly changing cloud threat landscape.

We seek a passionate cloud security educator who can inspire and equip our clients to stay ahead of today's most sophisticated threat actors.

What You'll Do

  • Course Delivery: Deliver CrowdStrike training as our cloud security subject matter expert, with a primary focus on Falcon Cloud Security, CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, container security, and cloud incident response, typically 3-4 days per week. You will also teach across the broader CrowdStrike curriculum as needed, with topics including endpoint security, identity protection, log management, and SIEM engineering
  • Training is delivered primarily via virtual platforms, covering all U.S. time zones with occasional cross-regional hours; on-site delivery occurs on occasion, typically three to five days at a time
  • Curriculum & Exam Development: Partner with curriculum developers, exam developers, and subject matter experts to design, revise, and enhance cloud security training courses and certification exams
  • Lab Development: Collaborate with Lab Engineers to build, extend, and maintain hands-on lab environments that support the courses you contribute to
  • Product Knowledge: Stay current on CrowdStrike’s cloud security product portfolio and the broader cloud threat landscape; serve as an internal resource to help keep the team up to date on relevant product and industry developments

What You'll Need:

  • Training Delivery Experience: Proven experience delivering technical training to an array of audiences, from IT support staff to executives
  • Cloud Security & CNAPP Expertise: In-depth experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP and/or Oracle) and Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP), including CSPM, CWPP, and CIEM solutions
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE), serverless security, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), or DevSecOps practices such as CI/CD pipeline security and shift-left approaches
  • Practical experience using or implementing CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security or other CNAPP solutions (Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Lacework, Sysdig, or Orca Security) is strongly desired
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex cloud security topics and engaging an audience in a professional demeanor.
  • Autonomy: Ability to manage your time effectively and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Project Management: Competent in managing multiple projects and delivering on time.
  • Team Orientation: A team player who fosters a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally on occasion, typically three to five days at a time.

Bonus Points:

  • Functional Knowledge or Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following domains:
  • Digital Forensics: Skilled in using forensic analysis tools to determine the scope of security incidents
  • Identity Protection: Knowledge of identity protection strategies, including cloud IAM, privileged access management, and identity governance across multi-cloud environments
  • Incident Response: Experience in managing or conducting incident response investigations involving advanced threats
  • Intelligence: Experience conducting cyber threat analysis of targeted threat actors using an established analytic model to produce FINTEL and/or technical output
  • Network Operations and Architecture: Strong understanding of secure network architecture and experience performing network operations
  • Programming/Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar
  • Security Engineering: Experience with designing, implementing, and managing security tools and platforms, including cloud-native security controls and policy enforcement
