About this role

Splunk, a Cisco company, is building a safer and more resilient digital world with an end-to-end full stack platform made for a hybrid, multi-cloud world. Leading enterprises use our unified security and observability platform to keep their digital systems secure and reliable. Come help organizations be their best, while you reach new heights with a team that has your back.

Meet the Team

Are you ready to lead the charge in the constantly evolving security landscape? You will join a high-impact team of domain security subject matter experts dedicated to evangelizing and advancing the Splunk Security brand and go-to-market strategy. We act as a critical bridge between global product teams and regional markets, collaborating closely with Cisco and Splunk sales leaders to drive innovation.

Our small, agile team thrives on cross-functional collaboration, interfacing with partners across sales, customer success, and product management to deliver real results. It is an incredibly exciting time to help our customers navigate what’s next in security technology and shape the future of our product roadmap!

Your Impact

Drive the adoption of Splunk security solutions by implementing targeted sales plays and growth initiatives. Partner with regional sales and technical teams to build robust pipelines and ensure long-term account success. Build strategic content, such as maturity models and white papers, to highlight the real-world value of our security portfolio.

Analyze regional business metrics and forecasts to guide our leadership team’s decision-making. Finally, you will represent our security vision at industry events to accelerate our market presence!

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical sales, product, or practitioner experience within the security industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with modern security technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, and UEBA.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, CSC CIS, OTel, and DORA.
  • Willingness to travel for industry events, customer meetings, and functional gatherings.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a globally dispersed, remote organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in driving complex security sales cycles, specifically within the Benelux market.
  • Strong background in sales strategy, pipeline management, and executing regionally tailored campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide thought leadership to large audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in analyzing and reporting on business metrics and renewal forecasts.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken), Dutch or French would be helpful
