About the Role
The Food & Beverage Specialist (Per Diem) serves members and their guests in a warm, accommodating, professional manner, creating a consistent and positive clubhouse experience. This is a per diem, on-call role : you'll be part of a pool of per diem team members who are called on to support clubhouse operations, meeting rooms, and events as needed. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary week to week based on business needs.
This team member must provide a consistent level of service that meets company standards and exceeds member expectations, while upholding the values and mission of Chief.
Your Duties and Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- This is a dynamic, multi-functional position centered on desk coverage, member check-ins, and overall clubhouse support.
- Greet members and guests warmly, take food and beverage orders promptly, and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, including specialty coffees, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks; run and clear all F&B items.
- Assist bartenders during peak times.
- Provide food and beverage service for meeting rooms and events, ensuring requests are met promptly, and rooms and service stations are properly stocked and set up.
- Help prepare and set up events, including arranging furniture and decorations, and assist with breakdown and cleanup afterward.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, including allergens and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation and plating for daily and event menus.
- Ensure compliance with DOH and company sanitation standards; label and store all products following FIFO and DOH regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all clubhouse areas, including the bar, kitchen, dining areas, meeting rooms, and common spaces.
- Support dishwashing, trash disposal, and overall kitchen organization.
- Handle member questions or concerns, escalating to the Clubhouse Manager when needed.
- Implement cost-saving strategies to enhance profitability while maintaining quality.
What You've Done and Enjoy Doing
- Knowledgeable about standard culinary techniques, protocols, and restaurant/F&B service operations.
- Experience working with POS systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management skills.
- Team-first attitude and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Skilled at providing members and guests with personalized attention and creating genuine connections.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Adaptable
- Passion for the company's mission, positioning, and brand.
- Food Safety Certified.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Available to work a flexible, on-call schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and events.

The salary for this role is: $35/hr
