Role and Team

Reporting to the General Sales Manager (GSM) or designated Manager, the Inside Sales Coordinator acts as an administrative partner to the sales team by supporting the day-to-day operations of the sales process.

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to assigned dealer accounts while ensuring accurate inventory management, lane organization, and reporting to help drive sales performance and customer retention.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, courteous service to dealer accounts across phone, email, and in-person interactions, resolving customer concerns professionally and escalating serious issues to management as appropriate
  • Manage dealer lane organization including run order, reserve numbers, floor prices, sale lights, and vehicle announcements
  • Conduct inbound/outbound sales calls to promote inventory, services, and upcoming auction events
  • Coordinate vehicle registration to ensure all inventory is properly entered and ready for sale
  • Arrange vehicle transportation to and from the auction facility on behalf of dealer customers as applicable
  • Prepare and distribute customer worksheets and post-sale reports
  • Support auction conversion targets through proactive customer service and assistance with pending purchase offers
  • Log all customer interactions and manage follow-ups in the company CRM in real time

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of customer service or administrative experience preferred
  • Automotive/auction experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license that meets company requirements

Physical Working Conditions:

The physical activity requirements of the position are from light to medium physical demands.

This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
