The System Project Leader acts as technical counterpart to the Project Manager and is responsible to plan, coordinate and execute global multi-disciplinary engineering activities to achieve project success. Responsible for making sure the technical team understands and fulfills the customer and internal requirements on specification, on schedule and on budget.
- Ensure development, validation, and release at system level throughout product lifecycle according to schedule, guidelines, requirements and specifications
- Lead international cross-functional technical teams including testing, requirements, functional safety, cybersecurity and vehicle/system application
- Direct working collaboration with international cross-functional technical teams including mechanical, hardware and software
- Completion of final engineering release at system level for OEM or saleable use
- Creation and maintenance of technical project schedule at system level
- Support problem solving and root cause analysis activities
- Responsible for risk management within system discipline scope
- Budget and resource management for system-level engineering, development and testing efforts
- Develop and maintain a positive OEM relationship as key technical point of contact and engineering lead
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering or related technical field (Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Systems, Industrial, Automotive) or equivalent.

Travel required approximately 5% of the time within Mexico or USA
