Manufacturing Project Lead

We're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Project Lead to join our operations team in Batu Kawan, Malaysia. In this role, you drive strategic manufacturing initiatives and special projects supporting business growth, operational excellence, and transformation across PgP5. The role closely collaborates with Manufacturing (MST) and acts as a key interface to Manufacturing IT (MFI).

The focus on manufacturing strategic projects, consumer ramp-up, IC final test stabilization, and potentially new foundry business introduction is aligned with current PgP5 priorities documented in internal planning notes.

• Lead strategic manufacturing projects assigned by the Plant Manager with clear business impact.
• Support ramp-up of Consumer Business by coordinating capacity, readiness, and execution across functions.
• Drive stabilization and performance improvement of Automotive IC Final Test operations.
• Coordinate introduction and industrialization of new foundry and semiconductor business opportunities.
• Manage cross-functional task forces involving MST, MFI, LOG, QMM, Engineering, and Business Units.
• Act as primary interface between Manufacturing (MST) and Manufacturing IT (MFI) for digitalization, automation, and system integration initiatives.
• Monitor project milestones, risks, KPIs, and escalation topics, ensuring timely management reporting.
• Drive sustainable improvements in quality, productivity, delivery performance, and manufacturing competitiveness.
• Develop and manage the Technology & Digitalization Roadmap for Manufacturing together with MST and MFI, ensuring long-term system scalability, automation integration, and operational efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or related industrial environments
• 3+ years of demonstrated project leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
