Job title: Stores management and despatch
Objective : The purpose of this position is to organize & conduct operations in outbound area of physical logistics to enable timely collection of Finished goods from MOE and finished manufactured goods externally to customers / warehouses.
Logistics Management
Adapt and meet logistics specific standards, processes, and systems within Outbound Physical logistics to fulfil despatch requests to customers on time.
Preparation and secure storage of legal documents for both pre and post documentation processes.
KRA
Window time adherence for dispatches to customers / warehouses.
Store Management
Storage of all FG materials as per standards (safe and secure storage).
Report and act on Blocked stocks
KRA: Logistics quality incidents YoY.
Physical Logistics
Participate and liaise logistics operations compliant with internal guidelines viz.
OMP ( Bosch India)/ PS Processes & methods , Central directives for Operations ,safe and secure storage of all Finished goods.
KRA: Process optimization & productivity improvement.
Escalation Management
Notify and report physical logistics (Outbound) and material delivery topics to leadership team (As per escalation matrix) to seek appropriate management intervention wrt Finished goods handling.
KRA: On time intervention and resolution of escalated topics
People Management
Organize the Logistics competency requirements training for the basis current and future trends and direct employee capability development accordingly
KRA: Employee satisfaction index
Compliance Management
Manage commercial processes to be legally compliant with Internal Guidelines Viz: OMP (Bosch India) Central Directives and external laws namely Foreign trade Customs and taxation laws.
KRA: Adhering to standards and no deviations in Audit
Education *
Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical or industrial production)
Experience *
5+ years work experience in outbound logistics area and stores management
Knowledge
- Competent knowledge in SAP - Warehouse, production planning, material management and sales distribution and logistics execution modules.
- Competent in IT tools viz. InTrack, RBIN gate pass & Power BI reports
- Competence in GST, taxation, export guidelines, safety topics, CL management & insurance.
- Expert in material flow, system control in warehouse management, storage & handling norms. \
Functional skills
- Competent knowledge on LMM, BPS, Warehouse KPIs, Inventory management, JIT, Lean Manufacturing, space planning
- Competent warehouse & Transportation Management, warehouse productivity
- Competent effective communication skills (English & local language)
- Competent conflict management skills
