[EPM] AI Engineer

The EPM department focuses on software tooling development to support embedded products across the XC domains, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Car Multimedia (XC-CM), and Cross-Domain Computing & Software-Defined Vehicle platforms (XC-CE/SDV) .

We develop tools and engineering solutions that streamline software and system development for technologies such as radar, video, HMI, ultrasonic sensors, vehicle compute platforms, middleware, software integration, CI/CD, and cloud-connected SDV ecosystems.

Serving global teams across Japan, China, Europe, and Vietnam, we contribute to the advancement of secure, safe, intelligent, and software-defined mobility solutions by enabling efficient development, integration, validation, and deployment of next-generation automotive software.

As an AI Engineer, your typical work activities include:

• Building and deploying AI-powered applications, working alongside experienced fullstack AI engineers.
• Applying AI and machine learning to solve real-world problems.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of AI models and algorithms.
• Help build and maintain data pipelines for preprocessing, cleaning, and transforming data for AI applications.
• Integrate and deploy machine learning models into production systems using APIs and microservices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and optimize AI systems for performance and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and relevant frameworks.

The job might be fit for you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Python is a must. Familiarity with other languages like Java or C++ is a plus.
• Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major AI/ML framework, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• A keen interest in continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
• Good English communication skills, be able to interact fluently with worldwide stakeholders.
