About this role

Job PurposeWe are seeking an experienced Senior DSP Engineer to design, develop, and optimize next-generation audio processing algorithms.

In this role, you will take ownership of the audio pipeline, transforming theoretical signal processing concepts into high-performance production code for real-time systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAlgorithm Development: Research, model, and simulate advanced audio algorithms (e.g., active noise cancellation, acoustic echo cancellation, beamforming, spatial audio, and dynamic range control).Embedded Device Implementation & Optimization: Port and optimize MATLAB/Python prototypes into production-ready C/C++ code targeting embedded DSPs, ARM processors, or mobile platforms.System Architecture: Design robust, low-latency audio frameworks and pipeline architectures for real-time software.Testing & Validation: Conduct objective acoustic measurements and subjective listening tests to validate algorithm performance.Mentorship: Guide junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion engineering best practices within the team.Required Skills & ExperienceEducation: Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on Audio Signal Processing.Experience: 5+ years of industry experience developing real-time audio software.Programming: Mastery of C and C++ in resource-constrained embedded environments.Tools: Expert proficiency with MATLAB, Python (NumPy/SciPy), and audio analysis tools.DSP Concepts: Deep understanding of fixed-point/floating-point math, filter design (IIR/FIR), and frequency-domain processing (FFT).Audio Protocols: Familiarity with audio interfaces (I2S, TDM, PDM) and frameworks (ALSA, CoreAudio, or Audio Graph).Preferred QualificationsExperience with machine learning frameworks applied to audio (e.g., keyword spotting, neural noise suppression).Hands-on experience with specific DSP architectures (e.g., Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, ARM Cortex-M/A).Familiarity with standard software development workflows (Git, CI/CD, Agile).

Master’s or Ph.D. in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on Audio Signal Processing.
