About the job

-----------------

You will be joining Connect Deals Engineering, which is part of Google Business Organization (GBO) Engineering within Global Business Applied AI (GBAI). We build the platform Google uses to structure, approve, manage, and pay out every agreement and incentive program across YouTube, Apps, and Search Ads.

That includes the flagship Video Incentive Program (VIP), media trials and agency partnership programs, YouTube Select and Masthead, and app incentives. Connect Deals manages in annual incentive budgets and supports in YouTube and Video business. We are a cross-Product Area team spanning GBAI, GBO, YouTube Ads, and Finance.

This Product Manager owns the full seller journey, rather than a single component.

As a Product Manager on Connect Deals, you will be the advocate for Google sellers worldwide, owning the journey of how they discover, plan, pitch, set up, and realize value from complex commercial agreements.

Joining Connect Deals Engineering within GBAI in New York, you will translate our 2027+ platform vision into frictionless product experiences that streamline multi-billion dollar incentive budgets across YouTube, Apps, and Search Ads. You will collaborate closely with distributed UX, engineering, and partner product teams (like YouTube Ads) to accelerate agreement velocity and improve the return on investment of the program.

In this role, you will build consensus up to the VP level while turning day-to-day seller feedback into high-impact, intuitive systems.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Build narratives that articulate the motivation, goals, and path to success, building consensus across PAs (GBAI, GBO, YouTube Ads) and functions (Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal).
  • Partner with YouTube Ads product leadership on incentive program launches, such as VIP modernization and new discount types, so that new incentives are easy for sellers to sell and manage.
  • Direct the resolution of complex product, UX, financial, and compliance issues by evaluating multiple approaches and anticipating future implications.
