• For Telehealth Services: If treating a patient that is physically located outside of New Jersey, the treating therapist must comply by the rules in accordance with the state licensing board in the state where the patient is physically located.

Description

The occupational therapist

• The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the administration of appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for pediatric rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21
• Responsible for adherence to the scope and standards of practice as defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and works collaboratively with SLP.
• The OT plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance through the integration of physical skills, play based activities, social-emotional development, sensory processing, motor performance, and cognitive abilities.

Hours

Per Diem, increasing to regular hours based on performance. Must be able to work 3:30-6:30pm at least 3 days per week. Great for after school therapist looking for extra hours!

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
