THE OPPORTUNITY

Woodland Deck Company is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the financial and administrative side of our growing construction company. Accounting will be the primary focus of this role, with additional support in HR administration and inventory management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support day-to-day accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Help maintain accurate job costing and financial records in QuickBooks Online.
• Assist with general HR administration, employee records, onboarding, and payroll-related support.
• Support inventory tracking, purchasing, receiving, and reconciliation of materials.
• Work closely with leadership to improve financial, administrative, and inventory processes.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with construction, job costing, inventory, or HR administration is a plus.

Schedule note

This position may be full-time or part-time. Part-time candidates must be available to work a consistent schedule every Monday through Friday, even if the daily hours are shorter.
