Software Engineer Expert

Westwood Talents is recruiting experienced Software Engineering professionals for a remote, hourly contract opportunity supporting AI training and evaluation.

About the Role

We are looking for expert evaluators in Software Engineering to review and assess AI-generated work products, including slides, spreadsheets, and documents, for real-world quality.

You will apply your professional software engineering expertise to evaluate AI-generated outputs and provide clear, structured feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Software Engineering at a top firm in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or higher) from a reputable institution.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated artifacts for usability in a software engineering context.
• Identify factual, technical, aesthetic, and presentation errors.
• Assess the quality and real-world applicability of AI-generated work.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback.
• Apply your professional expertise and judgment when evaluating AI outputs.

Contract & Payment

• Job Type: Independent Contractor
• Location: Fully Remote
• Hours: Flexible; work can be completed on your own schedule.
• Compensation: $100–$150/hour
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance.
• Payments are made weekly via Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.
• This opportunity does not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• H-1B and STEM OPT sponsorship is not supported for this opportunity.
