We are seeking a Full-Time RN Nurse Supervisor for our Children/Adult Crisis Receiving Center and Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit

Responsibilities and Duties for a RN Nurse Supervisor :

• Conducting on-going physical and mental assessments/screenings and participating in education regarding medication compliance and side effects
• Maintain accurate and timely consumer records, monitor consumer safety and coordinate care with hospital staff and other treatment providers
• Administering, supervising and monitoring individual medication treatment plans
• Provide oversight, supervision, training and professional development for RN and LPN staff to ensure high standards of clinical practice
• Compliance with agency policies and procedures, and adhere to all relevant local, state and federal legal and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Skills for a RN Nurse Supervisor:

• Current Virginia unrestricted RN License or license from a Compact State
• One (1) year RN work experience in a mental health program and/or residential setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Preferred: Experience using electronic medical records and basic knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable DMV record at time of hire and continuously thereafter
