About this role
Senior Product Manager — WePro
Houston, TX · On-site (hybrid negotiable) · Full-time
About WePro
WePro is AI-first SaaS for the home service industry. We build the tools home service businesses use to run every part of their operation: CRM, dispatch management, call answering, marketing campaigns and billing. Every part is customizable, with AI and automations built into each step.
In this industry, a missed call is a lost job and a slow dispatch is a lost customer. Our tools help our customers avoid both. Most software in this space treats AI as an add-on.
We built WePro AI-first, and every part of the platform is customizable. We're bootstrapped and profitable, so we answer to our customers, not investors. We're a small team moving fast to change what home service software can be, and we're looking for a product manager to help us do it.
Why this role
- Work directly with the founders and CTO. Your ideas go straight to the people who decide, and decisions happen in days, not quarters.
- Own the product, not a slice of it. You'll set what gets built across our CRM, dispatch and AI features, and see it in customers' hands.
- Hard, interesting problems. AI that answers and books real calls. Dispatch logic for technicians in the field. Automations that run a business while the owner is on a job.
- Real impact, fast. Small team, short path from idea to production. What you ship this month changes how our customers run their business next month.
Who we're looking for
Someone who thinks like a product owner and executes like a strong project manager. You'll drive several initiatives at once, independently, from first idea to shipped result. You solve problems instead of escalating them, take ownership of outcomes, and challenge assumptions, including ours.
You don't wait for instructions or just move tasks across a board; you decide what needs to happen and make sure it does.
What you'll own
- Execution across many projects. Run several initiatives at once. Plan the work, set deadlines, follow up with every owner and make sure what we start actually ships, on time.
- Prioritization and coordination. Prioritize features within the roadmap the CTO sets, and coordinate developers, designers and QA teams to deliver them.
- Requirements and specs. Turn founder ideas, business problems and customer feedback into clear requirements, UX flows, acceptance criteria and tickets.
- Delivery. Lead developers, designers and QA from idea to launch, and own testing sign-off before anything ships. You run the process; you don't manage people.
- New AI features. Find where AI can save our customers time or win them jobs, and get it shipped.
- The release process. Planning, QA, release notes and a steady shipping cadence.
- Honest pushback. Spot product issues, propose fixes, and challenge ideas that won't work, including ours.
Other responsibilities
- Improving internal workflows, operational efficiency and the customer experience.
- Coordinating vendors and technical integrations.
- Supporting cross-team initiatives.
You might be a fit if
You have:
- 4 years of hands-on product management at a SaaS company.
- A track record of shipping products and features end to end, and you can walk us through them.
- Strong project management: you've run several projects in parallel, kept deadlines and owners on track, and closed them out.
- Experience coordinating engineering, design, and QA teams.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX.
- Strong understanding of software development and APIs, and the confidence to work through technical tradeoffs with engineers.
- Hands-on experience building with AI, LLMs or automation.
- Strong written and spoken English; your specs leave no room for guessing.
- An owner's mindset: you run projects, fix broken processes and bring your own ideas about where the product should go.
Bonus points:
- CRM, field service management, dispatching or contact-center software experience.
- Time at an early-stage startup.
Is this you?
This role isn't for you if you want a big team, long planning cycles, a tidy, fixed job description, or if you work best when someone hands you a task list. It is for you if you'd rather ship something real this month than polish a slide deck.
We're a small team, so every hire matters, and we're picky. We'd rather take our time and find the right person.
Location
On-site in Houston, TX, working side by side with the founders and CTO. Hybrid is negotiable for the right candidate.
