About this role

Watchtower Security is the nation's leading provider of all-inclusive, fully managed video surveillance solutions, exclusively dedicated to the multifamily housing industry. For over two decades, we have partnered with property management groups across the nation, empowering them to enhance safety, deter crime, and provide peace of mind to their communities.

As a rapidly growing and dynamic organization, we pride ourselves on a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation, critical thinking, and a commitment to excellence drive our success. We are seeking passionate individuals eager to contribute to a team that values strong communication, attention to detail, and a shared dedication to making a tangible difference in community security.

In this role you will own day-to-day FP&A reporting, forecasting, and analysis, working closely with our established Accounting team and receiving ongoing direction, review, and support from the CFO. This is an opportunity for an analytical self-starter to help establish the processes, reporting tools, and financial models that support a growing business.

You will connect historical financial results with operational performance and forward-looking planning, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations to leadership. As your understanding of the business develops, you will take on increasing responsibility for recurring reporting, forecast preparation, and budget coordination. Essential Job Functions:* KPI & Performance Reporting

+ Develop, prepare, and maintain weekly and monthly reporting packages that track financial and operational performance.

+ Analyze recurring revenue growth, customer retention, revenue churn, customer or property-level profitability, and gross margins.

+ Evaluate customer acquisition costs, customer lifetime value, and payback periods where reliable data is available.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting

+ Partner with the CFO and department leaders to coordinate the annual budgeting process.

+ Build and maintain rolling forecasts, document assumptions, and evaluate scenarios to support business planning.

  • Management & Variance Reporting

+ Prepare monthly budget-to-actual analyses and executive reporting packages.

+ Explain key performance drivers, identify emerging trends, and highlight risks and opportunities.

  • Business & Operational Analysis

+ Partner with department leaders on prioritized financial analyses and decision support.

+ Develop models to evaluate pricing, equipment and installation costs, service delivery expenses, ongoing support costs, and operational efficiency.

  • Cash Flow & Investment Analysis

+ Support the CFO with cash flow forecasting and analysis of equipment purchases, capital investments, and other business initiatives.

  • Data Integrity & Reporting Standards

+ Partner with Accounting and operational leaders to validate reporting inputs, reconcile financial and operational data, and establish consistent KPI definitions, assumptions, and reporting procedures.

  • Process Improvement & Automation

+ Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, reduce manual reporting tasks, and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

+ Implement improvements in collaboration with the CFO and relevant teams.

Qualifications & Skills:* Education & Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

+ Two to four years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A, including hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.

  • Technical & Functional Skills

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, lookup functions, and scenario analysis.

+ Working knowledge of financial statements and the relationship between revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.

  • Core Competencies

+ Ability to turn high-level direction into organized work plans, manage competing priorities, and complete projects independently while seeking guidance when needed.

+ Strong attention to detail and the ability to validate data, investigate discrepancies, and document assumptions.

+ Ability to explain financial results clearly and provide actionable recommendations to non-financial department leaders.

  • Preferred Experience

+ Experience analyzing subscription-based, recurring revenue, or managed service business models.

+ Experience evaluating customer profitability, service delivery costs, or operational performance.

+ Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

+ Experience supporting financial software implementations, ERP systems, reporting platforms, or financial consolidation tools.
