Job Summary

We are seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to provide evaluations and individualized physical therapy services to children in Charlotte and surrounding communities. Services are delivered in homes, daycares, and other community settings within an agreed-upon service area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate gross motor development, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional movement.
  • Develop individualized plans of care with practical, measurable goals.
  • Provide engaging therapy to improve children's functional mobility and participation in everyday activities.
  • Educate caregivers on activities and strategies to support progress between visits.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, families, and other care providers.
  • Complete timely treatment notes, progress reports, reassessments, and discharge documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active North Carolina PT license required before beginning patient care.
  • Pediatric physical therapy experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in community settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Reliable transportation for community-based visits.
