Job Overview

Join us as a Full Stack Java Developer and build reliable web applications from the front end through the back end. You’ll contribute to software development and application development, shaping software design and system design for system development with a focus on scalable systems. You’ll work across Java, JavaScript, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, collaborating through Agile software development practices.

Duties

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java, JavaScript, SQL, and suitable JavaScript frameworks; build and integrate RESTful APIs and other REST services.
• Design microservices and scalable systems using established design patterns, with attention to scalability, security, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Contribute to front-end development, back-end services, and IT infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.
• Use Git, GitHub, or Subversion (SVN) for version control and support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Your impact: Thoughtful system design helps users access dependable applications and enables teams to deliver changes with confidence.

Experience

• Essential: Demonstrated software engineering and web development experience with Java, programming languages, SQL, APIs, and version control; familiarity with Agile methods and CI/CD.
• Preferred: Experience with MySQL, Linux, C#,.NET, Python, C, C++, VBA, Ruby on Rails, or React and Express.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, microservices, REST, design patterns, and secure application development is valuable.
• Quantum engineering is not a core requirement; exposure may be relevant to specialized projects.

Pay: $18.00 - $135.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
