least 20 years of relevant experience and 10+ years of solid Azure architecture experience to design and support secure, resilient cloud and hybrid infrastructure in a complex enterprise environment. ### Responsibilities and Expertise - Architect Azure infrastructure using services such as compute, networking, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Policy, Backup, Site Recovery, and Azure Kubernetes Service; apply effective platform governance patterns. - Support GCP infrastructure, including networking, identity, monitoring, logging, security controls, and hybrid connectivity. - Design and operate hybrid environments involving DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing, F5, VPN and private connectivity, identity integration, virtualization, Nutanix, and datacenter dependencies. - Build repeatable infrastructure deployments and automation using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, GitHub, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Python, YAML, and JSON, including automated testing. - Apply secure-by-design practices across access control, secrets, encryption, logging, vulnerability remediation, and policy-as-code. - Architect high availability, disaster recovery, backup and recovery, monitoring, failure-mode planning, and operational runbooks. ### Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; equivalent education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
Experience in mission-critical, 24x7 environments is strongly preferred, with energy, drilling, industrial, or other high-availability experience an advantage. GCP experience is also valued. Relevant Azure, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, or ITIL certifications are preferred.
