IT Project Manager/SaaS Implementation

Job Summary

Experienced IT Project Managers to lead and support enterprise software implementations, SaaS deployments, system integrations, and business process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, vendors, stakeholders, risks, and implementation activities in complex organizational environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant project management experience, including implementing a variety of software systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise applications, SaaS implementations, system integrations, or complex business systems.
• Experience developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, schedules, risk registers, and project status reports.
• Strong understanding of standard IT project management practices and methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with business users, technical teams, vendors, executive sponsors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience supporting the complete software implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project teams throughout planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Develop, maintain, and update project plans, including 90-day rolling schedules and executive dashboards.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with software vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee system configurations, integrations, data migration, validation, and testing activities.
• Maintain risk and issue logs, develop mitigation strategies, and manage escalations.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training, change management, and organizational readiness.
• Review vendor deliverables, project documentation, and change requests.
• Support cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Prepare status reports, executive updates, governance documents, and project performance dashboards.

Preferred Certifications

• PMP – Project Management Professional
• CSM – Certified ScrumMaster
• PMI-ACP – PMI Agile Certified Practitioner
• Prosci Change Management Certification
• Comparable project management certifications

Preferred Experience

• Public-sector, county, state, or local government IT projects.
• Large enterprise SaaS or business-system implementations.
• Integration of multiple enterprise software platforms.
• Data migration, conversion, and validation.
• Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management environments.
• Multi-vendor implementations and cross-department stakeholder management.
