Role Overview

Seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT)

to provide skilled evaluation and treatment services in an acute care setting. This role involves developing treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, and delegating tasks to assistants and students. The OT will complete documentation following departmental policies and conduct assessments, reassessments, and consultations to support patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement personalized treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
  • Delegate interventions to assistants and students based on their skill levels.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide ongoing assessments and consultations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's preferred.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license.
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment, with excellent communication skills.
  • No prior experience required; supervision experience is not mandatory.
