Role Overview: Plans and implements occupational therapy treatment programs across all age groups, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in discharge planning, promote evidence-based practices, and mentor staff and students.
- Maintain departmental policies, promote teamwork, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Recognize stressors, develop coping strategies, and foster positive relationships within the team.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy, and licensure as a Licensed Occupational Therapist.
