Shift: Evening / Night Schedule

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with a BSN, recent pediatric or neonatal critical-care nursing experience, and progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting.

The successful candidate should be comfortable supporting nursing staff and unit operations during evening and night shifts, maintaining clinical competence in the relevant specialty, and assuming unit-level oversight when the Nurse Manager is absent.

Key characteristics include

Current Maryland RN license or compact RN license.

• At least three years of nursing experience in Pediatrics, PICU, or NICU.

Progressive leadership experience, such as charge nurse responsibilities, precepting, or similar assignments.

Strong patient safety, clinical judgment, and communication skills.

Ability to support patient throughput, staff engagement, and positive patient outcomes.

*

Membership in a professional nursing organization.

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
