Registered Nurse – NICU

Schedule: Night Shift – 12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

* Minimum of one full year of RN experience in a NICU after graduation. * Experience must be in a Level IV NICU. * Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire. *

Basic Life

Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.

Mandatory Level IV NICU Experience

The hiring manager will not consider candidates without actual NICU RN experience.

At least one full year of Level IV NICU experience.

Experience must be earned after graduation from a nursing program.

Nursing school clinical rotations do not count.

*

RN residency programs do not count.

*

• General pediatric, postpartum, newborn nursery, or other non-NICU experience cannot substitute for the required NICU experience.
