Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain, and modernize enterprise Citrix Cloud/DaaS and VDI platforms.
  • Engineer and support Azure-based VDI, including image management, provisioning, capacity, resiliency, and disaster recovery.
  • Manage Citrix infrastructure including Cloud Connectors, Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Workspace, Director, ADC/NetScaler, MCS, and PVS.
  • Engineer Windows 10/11 enterprise desktops, including gold images, Group Policy, application integration, security baselines, and lifecycle management.
  • Optimize FSLogix and Citrix profiles, logon performance, session stability, and overall user experience.
  • Provide Tier 3/4 support, lead complex incident investigations, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Partner with Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and other vendors to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
  • Develop and support production-grade PowerShell automation across Citrix, Windows, Active Directory, Azure, VMware, Microsoft 365, and monitoring platforms.
  • Build automation for self-healing, health checks, reporting, compliance, capacity planning, and operational dashboards.
  • Integrate automation with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, Citrix APIs, PowerCLI, Azure modules, and monitoring platforms.
  • Follow engineering best practices including source control, peer review, structured logging, error handling, documentation, and CI/CD.
  • Contribute to technology roadmaps, modernization initiatives, technical standards, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Core Competencies

  • 8+ years of Windows infrastructure/end-user computing and enterprise Citrix experience, including 5+ years of large-scale VDI and production PowerShell automation.
  • Strong expertise in Citrix Cloud/DaaS, Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure/AVD, VMware, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, Intune/MECM, FSLogix, and enterprise imaging.
  • Advanced PowerShell and automation skills, including REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, PowerCLI, Git/GitHub, CI/CD, structured logging, error handling, and reusable automation frameworks.
  • Proven experience supporting thousands of users across multiple regions and leading infrastructure, VDI, desktop, or cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Strong Tier 3/4 troubleshooting, incident response, RCA, performance optimization, and platform stability experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate recurring operational issues, improve user experience, and deliver measurable platform improvements.
  • Excellent technical, written, and executive communication, with strong ownership, analytical thinking, documentation, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Pay: $165,000.00 - $183,000.00 per year
