Systems Engineer

**Systems Engineer is needed to perform the following duties:**
- Create business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to develop solutions for the application environment–10%
o Mentor engineers and participate in code reviews, technical\-design discussions, and architectural decision\-making.
o Support production releases, application monitoring, troubleshooting, root\-cause analysis, and incident resolution.
o Drive Android application architecture using reusable components, coding standards, modular designs, and established engineering best practices.
- Design software applications, create system procedures and ensure that the developed applications function normally\- 10%
o Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise\-grade Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks.
o Build scalable mobile\-commerce functionality supporting product catalogs, marketplaces, promotional offers, and customer transactions.
o Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Solution Architects, UX designers, QA engineers, and backend\-development teams.

o Develop mobile experiences for checkout, payments, loyalty programs, subscriptions, order tracking, and fulfillment workflows.
o Develop Android functionality using Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and Android Architecture Components.
o Develop mobile solutions supporting telecom, retail, e\-commerce, marketplace, and payment\-platform capabilities.
- Implement and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes\-15%
o Implement automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, release\-management, and deployment practices.
o Optimize application performance, reliability, startup time, memory consumption, responsiveness, and overall customer experience.
o Implement mobile\-application security, performance\-tuning, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Participate in scrum meetings and coordinate with Business Analysts to understand the business needs and implement the same into a functional design\-20%
o Participate in Agile and Scrum activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, development, testing, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
o Provide technical leadership throughout the Android software\-development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through production support.
o Use Kotlin Coroutines and Flow to manage asynchronous processing, application state, and reactive data streams.
- Write source code, prepare test data, tests and debug programs; revise and refine programs to improve the performance of the application software\-15%
o Integrate Android applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, authentication platforms, and payment systems.
o Integrate mobile applications with AWS and/or GCP cloud services, microservices, and event\-driven architectures.
o Apply MVVM, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, and modular application\-design principles.
- Perform execution of functional test plan, validate test results, prepare documentation \& data for analysis\-15%
o Build and support large\-scale consumer applications serving millions of users.
o Build and maintain application features capable of supporting high transaction volumes.
o Use AI\-assisted development tools, including Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms, to support software development, testing, documentation, and engineering productivity.
**Bachelor's Degree is required in** **Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology or Computer Information Systems**
