Job Description

Unified Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dermatology practice in Temecula, California.

We are looking for a skilled provider with a strong background in medical dermatology who can independently manage a variety of dermatologic conditions, perform common dermatologic procedures, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, offering flexibility for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin cancers.
• Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer screenings.
• Perform dermatologic procedures, including shave and punch biopsies, cryotherapy, and other minor procedures within the provider's scope of practice.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on skin conditions, treatment options, preventive care, and follow-up recommendations.
• Accurately document patient encounters using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality, professionalism, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in California.
• Minimum 3 years of direct clinical experience in dermatology.
• Strong proficiency in diagnosing and treating common dermatologic conditions.
• Experience performing skin examinations, biopsies, cryotherapy, and other routine dermatologic procedures.
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient dermatology setting.

Preferred:

• Experience in both medical and surgical dermatology.
• Familiarity with dermatology-specific EMR systems.
• Experience with cosmetic dermatology procedures is a plus.
