Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• IBM Db2 for z/OS subsystem administration and database administration
• Db2 application DBA and systems DBA capabilities, including SQL tuning and physical database design
• SMF/RMF telemetry and application-trace analysis
• Database resilience, BCP testing and recovery from Safeguarded Copies
• Self-service automation for DDL/DML requests and CI/CD pipelines for database changes
• Mainframe modernization, integration, migration, zLinux, OpenShift, Ansible and Python

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design and implementation of reliable, scalable and secure Db2 for z/OS solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to database, application, operations and modernization teams.
• Establish intake and change processes for new workloads and tune Db2 subsystems and databases.
• Develop self-service, on-demand automation for DDL and DML requests.
• Enable CI/CD pipelines for controlled database-change deployment.
• Review SMF/RMF telemetry and application traces; recommend SQL improvements and physical database-design changes.
• Support BCP testing and recovery of data from Safeguarded Copies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Db2 for z/OS incidents; participate in release, change, incident and problem-management processes.
• Maintain architecture standards, governance, roadmaps and blueprints while evaluating modernization opportunities.

Lead Mainframe CICS SRE (NEW)

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• IBM z/OS, COBOL, CICS, z/OS Connect and IBM MQ
• CICS/MQ and z/OS Connect performance tuning, telemetry and trace analysis
• Mainframe modernization, integration and migration
• Mainframe intake, change, release, incident and problem management
• Cloud integration, zLinux, OpenShift, DevOps and automation using Red Hat Ansible for IBM Z, Ansible and Python
• High availability, security, scalability and hybrid architecture

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design and implementation of mainframe solutions aligned to business and technology strategy.
• Provide technical leadership to mainframe development, operations and modernization teams.
• Partner with business, application and infrastructure stakeholders to define requirements and deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Establish mainframe intake and change processes for new workloads and tune CICS, MQ and z/OS Connect services.
• Review CICS/MQ and z/OS Connect telemetry and traces to improve availability, security and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CICS/MQ incidents; participate in release, change, incident and problem-management processes.
• Create and maintain architecture standards, roadmaps, blueprints and governance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement and modernization.

Lead Mainframe z/OS Security & Performance SRE (NEW)

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• IBM z/OS, WLM, RACF, PR/SM, storage and related mainframe technologies
• SMF/RMF performance telemetry analysis, capacity management and performance tuning
• zLinux systems programming and hybrid mainframe architecture
• Business continuity, resilience and disaster-recovery design using CSM, Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, Safeguarded Copy, HyperSwap and site-swap patterns
• Automation using Red Hat Ansible for IBM Z, Ansible and Python
• OpenShift, DevOps, mainframe modernization, integration and migration

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design and implementation of secure, resilient and high-performing mainframe solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to mainframe engineering, operations and modernization teams.
• Establish intake and change processes for new workloads and tune z/OS, zLinux, WLM and PR/SM.
• Support BCP and resilience design using Ansible, CSM, Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, Safeguarded Copy, HyperSwap and data-center site swaps.
• Review SMF/RMF telemetry and application traces with stakeholders to improve capacity, availability, security and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve z/OS performance incidents; participate in release, change, incident and problem-management processes.
• Define architecture standards, governance, roadmaps and blueprints.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement and modernization.

Pay: $95,500.00 - $1,500,000.00 per year
